The Volunteer Centre Wokingham has been delivering volunteering services in the Wokingham area for over 30 years.  We supply the following services: 

Volunteer Brokerage

  We provide a free volunteer recruitment service to:

 - Promote volunteering opportunities across the Wokingham Borough   

 - Recruit and place volunteers in a wide range of community, voluntary and charitable groups across the borough   

 - Work with groups and organisations that require volunteers   

 - Celebrate the work of the many dedicated volunteers whose efforts make Wokingham  Borough a better place to live and work.

We also run two projects dealing with volunteering- Supported Volunteering and Employer Supported Volunteering.   

Supported Volunteering is a volunteer recruitment service aimed at anyone who wants to volunteer and may require additional support as a result of health or disability.  

Employer Supported Volunteering is aimed at supporting local companies and businesses to encourage their staff to be involved in volunteering, either working as a team or as individuals.  

Community Services  

We also run Wokingham Town Mobility and the Wokingham Transport Scheme
